Behind ÈDDA KNIT is Karina.

With years of experience in knitting, fashion and design, Karina has spent a long time observing how the industry moves — how quickly trends shift, how collections are replaced, and how little time clothing is often given to truly matter.

ÈDDA KNIT is a place for timeless knitwear, thoughtful design and pieces made to last beyond a single season. The focus is on simplicity, balanced proportions and small details that make a difference — always with wearability and comfort in mind.

Karina started knitting in her early childhood, and suddenly she felt a growing need to return to making. To slow down. To choose materials with care and to build a wardrobe by hand, one piece at a time.

Seeing garments become outdated almost as soon as they reached the stores made one thing clear: there was a need for something more lasting. Something with intention.

This is where ÈDDA KNIT began. Fashionable easy guides for everyone.

ÈDDA KNIT brings together experience from the fashion world with a deep respect for craftsmanship. The result is a collection of knit designs without an expiry date — meant to be worn often, cared for, and loved for years.

the HEART of ÈDDA KNIT

We believe that knitting should feel calm, intuitive, and enjoyable — not complicated or overwhelming.

Many traditional knitting patterns rely heavily on long blocks of text, abbreviations, and complex explanations. Especially for beginners, this often leads to frustration, uncertainty, and unfinished projects. We wanted to change that. We especially want beginners to be able to follow knitting instructions easily and enjoyable.
We know how frustrating traditional, text- and technique-heavy patterns can be — often costing hours before you truly understand what you are knitting and where you are in the process.

EDDA KNIT patterns are designed as visual guides.
They focus on images rather than instructions, clarity rather than complexity, and confidence rather than perfection. Each pattern is built step by step, with clear visuals for every new action, supported by direct video links whenever movement is easier to understand than words.

We intentionally use very little text.
Instead, we let images, structure, and repetition guide the process. This makes our patterns accessible for absolute beginners, while still offering a satisfying and focused experience for more experienced knitters.

Our GOAL is simple:
To make knitting from the very first stitch to the finished piece feel natural and rewarding for everyone. 

By reducing mental overload, knitters can focus on what truly matters:
the rhythm of the hands, the feel of the yarn, and the joy of seeing something grow.
